What is ISR?

Infant Swimming Resource, or ISR, is a method developed beginning in 1966.

Since that time, our core conviction has remained the same: a child who reaches the water alone doesn’t have to end in tragedy. Always putting safety first, ISR emphasizes competence, which leads to confidence, and provides the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment in and around the water.

Through highly-customized one-on-one lessons, ISR Instructors work with children ages 6 months-6 years, teaching them the ISR self-rescue skills in a matter of weeks, not years.
